Do You Believe Me Now?

 Carly, Day 185, July 4, 2026

Carly was able to vaccinate and recruit two military members at 8 Bells. She wanted to find at least one more team member. She had something very important she wanted to ask Phillip but he got a call from his sister.

Phillip: Hey Sis, what's up? 
Isabella: Is Carly around?
Phillip: Yes, why?
Isabella: Is she OK? I heard from my guard she is running around Strangerville with a colander on her head?
Phillip: Well, not at the moment, but yes.
Isabella: Is she right there?
Phillip: Yes.
Isabella: I'll call you later.

When he hung up with his sister, Carly had him stand up.

Phillip: What the....?
Carly: Now you are vaccinated.
Phillip: Against what?
Carly: The infection! Now it is safe for you to join my team. You said you would support me.

Phillip: I will, but promise you will forget this craziness once we see that there is nothing going on.
Carly: Oh, there is something going on. I saw it.

Even Em knew there was something going on. She was very scared of what she saw in the bathroom.


Mom comforted her but had to leave to make some more vaccines. Maybe they would help in the battle.


Once Carly felt she had enough vaccines, she assembled her team at the lab.

Carly wondering about some of her choices, but too late now. This team will have to do.

Carly led her team down to the deepest part of the lab and the battle began. Her teammates scattered to different sides.
Carly yelling to Phillip: Do you believe me now?

Not paying much attention to the calendar recently, Carly did not realize it was Bunny Day. Flower Bunny wondered in, unfazed by the virus or the battle. Apparently that bunny suit is as protective as a Hazmat suit. But Bunny started distracting her team members.


Regardless of Bunny's interference, Carly's team was successful at defeating the Mother.

The teammates were celebrating as was the Flower Bunny.



And Phillip, the non-believer, he celebrated too.


In spite of him being slow to believe her, Carly was grateful for his help.


When they left the lab and arrived home, Carly could sense the change in the air, the sky, everything was bright and beautiful again. She wondered what adventure they would take on next.

Back At Home

 Carly, Day 146, May 26, 2026 The best thing about coming home after a long vacation... Em: Mommy, mommy, I missed you. Carly: I missed you too cutie pie. Carly was a little rusty with her swordsmanship training though. Carly: Ouch! And Carly started right in on trying to complete the social puppeteer. She thought maybe she could get some secrets at some of the bars, so after Phillip went to sleep, Carly headed out. She got enough secrets to complete the third part of the aspiration. Look how muscular everyone is though. It was definitely that decree. I had Phillip remove it so we'll see if people stop being so muscular. For the fourth part, she has to expose the royal burglar and she has to become friends with the Information Broker, as well as deal with 10 more secrets. But she is able to hack for the secrets in that last phase so she has been doing that too. And all of these interactions with the nobles has increased her rank with the nobles to where she outranks Phillip.  ...

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up.
