Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026

One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her. 

Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight. 
Carly: I know.

Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books.
Carly: I am still reading the book. 

That's about the time Paolo showed up.
That little want she has in the corner is to woohoo with Paolo. 
Watcher: Carly, you still have to finish one more homework.

Carly: Watcher says I have to do this one homework before we whatever.
Paolo: What's a watcher?
Carly: You don't have one. You get to do whatever you want whenever you want.

But then they were interrupted by someone else coming in the house uninvited.

Eerie again that since Robin was eliminated as burglar in one simverse, now Carly has a new burglar too. Or maybe it is Home Regions at work.

But she was no match for Carly.

Love that during the fight, she is still playful and just wants to woohoo with Paolo.

Sure, Carly can take care of herself, but Paolo, you are just watching. 

Carly won. It did look like Paolo was rooting for her anyway. And Carly still has that one desire.

But after the fight, Paolo ended up leaving. Carly finished her homework and went to bed alone. I don't think she was happy with me. 

The other thing that was hard to find time for was the tutoring. For the aspiration, she had to do that 5 times and they are 5 hour sessions each! That was hard to balance with her schoolwork, Em, and having any kind of social life. She devoted most of the weekend to doing tutoring, but she and Em did make a quick trip to Gibbi Point. 

Well, 2 trips because Carly's Watcher messed up a second time by not selling Tae's business and then they still couldn't visit the lot because it was a small business. Ugh. So back home and then out again. 

This was from the first visit when she still couldn't actually visit the lot. But they are all so cute.

And back out again in the daylight and she met Chiyo. They became good friends.

Carly: If you want, I can shoot an apple off your head.
Chiyo: Uh, no.

Em fell asleep, but it is so pretty on Tae's lot. We will have to come back when Carly is done with school and has more time.

Tae told Carly a secret but I keep forgetting to check her notebook to see what it was.

And back at home, Rowan stopped by to give Carly one of those you are such a good neighbor gifts. It was a wooden horse statue. 

And first term she did not have a presentation to do, but she had one for second term. She got that done over the weekend too.

And this is the first time that Spooky Night came around on the calendar and she did not have a party. But she did not want to miss HarvestFest so that will be next time.
