HarvestFest in Tomarang

 Carly, Day 242, August 30, 2026

Today was HarvestFest, which marks the end of Fall and the perfect time for a move to Tartosa. The kids left for school on Friday before I left the game, and I think it will work out well to move Friday night. 

This is Harvestfest Eve just everyone hanging outside eating leftovers and playing with dogs.

The next day, everyone woke up hungry so Carly decided to cook up the Grand Breakfast. They still invited Isabella, Lawson and the boys.

Spencer came in and gave Carly a big hug.

Maybe this is some strange Harvestfest custom in Ondarion, but after eating, Lawson challenged Phillip to a swordfight.

To my surprise, Phillip lost.

And not to be outdone by the guys, Isabella challenged Carly.

And Carly defeated Isabella.

After everyone left, Amelia practiced cheers for the first time.

I think we all saw that coming, including Austin.

Maybe we should think about computer club.

 

That looks better!

And then everyone got a walk before bed.

And this is Duke's owner (Duke is the father of the puppies). She was out walking, but without Duke. She is a teen, so maybe we will see her again.

Amelia Goes to High School

 Carly, Day 241, August 29, 2026

This is Amelia and Mom together. They are close, but they are different. She is prettier than Carly.

And she had her first day at high school, so I followed her. She met Principal Prescott.

I was trying to go through and age up ones that I remembered were in Carly's class, but I missed a lot of people - Noah Kane, Darling Walsh, Nyon Specter.  I will try to get in and age them. This is her class. I remembered to age up Sydney and Savannah, and their little brother is the one in front row -  I think Jayden is his name.

Amelia joined cheerleading because Carly never did that one. So, at lunch she got some fitness skill in shooting hoops.

And Honey called and offered her early graduation as soon as the end of day came. She declined for now. And just a cute picture of Casey and Stanley being affectionate with each other.

And this is the house I've been working on for Tartosa. It is from the gallery by jen1993xxxx. I like it, but I've been decluttering. I've tried so many houses and nothing has felt right. I didn't want a huge house, but I did want a nice outdoor area and this one has that, with some adjustments. It is nice now and I love the pool, but I like more of an outdoor kitchen area in my houses and a place for a small garden. It will be winter when they are there so there won't be too many plants in the ground.

Just some pictures of Casey and Stanley.

Casey on the left, Stanley on the right. They have smiles like their Grandma Maple and Truffle!

He got a hug. Maybe Amelia is surprised how light he is.

Stanley can't be left out.

They do like to play.

And Em loves playing with her little boys.

Pre-Puppy Happenings

 Carly, Day 235, August 23, 2026

Carly spent a lot of time for about 1 and a half sim weeks trying to get Em to have puppies, but while that was going on, the kids were going about their usual days. They've both been bringing kids home from school on a regular basis. Carly says no if it isn't a name she recognizes. One day they each brought one of their cousins home. It was not a good pool day which is why there is an umbrella, but that is where Austin decided to do homework and they followed.

The rain cleared up and Austin and Spencer played hopscotch.

Amelia reached a point where she was not a bear, but a few days later, she was a bear again. A scout and a bear eating pizza.

I almost had everyone dining together outside but then Phillip got up to clean up his plate. I have to work on that more.

Carly hung around the house with Em when Em was expecting and the kids went down to the fishing pier with Dad.

A stranger joined them but they still had a great day with Dad.

And that helped Austin to complete all of his scout badges! Yay!

And Melody stopped over one night late, in the rain. I thought maybe she was making a stop on her way to Moonwood Mill. Austin was the only one still up so he invited her in to play video games.

And one of them brought Eric home from school. They played the Llama game with him.

And Watcher forgot to get any family photos when Austin was an infant and a toddler. So they at least got their portrait as kids. I think I have another one to try with 2 children. I also have some sibling poses to try, but forgot when they were there.

Family Fun Night

 Carly, Day 234, August 22, 2026

While on the wait for the puppies vigil, Phillip suggested they all get out of the house for a while. It was a Saturday night so they all went to Newcrest to bowl.

Phillip went first. Ouch!

Amelia went next. It was a good effort.

And then it was Austin's turn. He had a different style.

And nobody, even Phillip, knew that Mom was like a pro. All those high school get togethers!

And Amelia fell on her next attempt.

They only played 3 frames - Mom won. Then the girls headed to the bathrooms and Austin and Dad tried roller skating. 

And Austin and Amelia tried out the karaoke machine.

It was a fun night for everyone.
