Birthday Pool Party

 Carly, Day 212, July 31, 2026

Last day in Strangerville, might as well make use of the hot weather and the pool. Carly and Phillip invited Tae's family and Cebolla's family for a pool party. Amelia did already know Leif and Leo from the toddler play date, but not that well. She hung out with Leif more, but for some reason after the party, I saw she had a friendship with Leo and not quite a friendship yet with Leif. And she met a couple of Tae's teenagers (I haven't aged Davi up yet). And in the end, Carly and Phillip both blew out birthday candles and became adults.

And Em jumping in wearing what she thinks is her swimsuit. She's silly.

I did change Kristen's hair when I was updating the boys. I like it. I didn't do outfit changes yet for anyone or age ups. I'll have more time tomorrow.

Then Phillip blew out his candles. Leif went back out to the pool. I think he really likes diving. This dive didn't go so well but dirty EmmaLou was cheering.

And soon after that the party ended and everyone went home. It was a school night and poor Amelia is going to be tired the next day and Watcher completely forgot about poor Austin. 🙈He will need some extra care the next day.

Toddler Birthday

 Carly, Day 210, July 29, 2026

So in continuing to invite a family over at a time, Carly decided to invite just Honey, Rowan and Melody to dinner and then have Austin blow out his candles. It got a little confusing, but dinner was served, an entire chocolate cake was eaten (and none of Carly's family had cake), nectar was opened, and candles were blown out. Amelia never met Melody so I thought that would be a good meeting. They did get along and were friends before the evening ended. Melody first greeted Em though when she came in.

And Carly introduced Austin to Honey.

And Amelia met Melody.

After dinner, I found them downstairs dancing.

Dinner was served. Rowan looks grumpy in the picture, but just bad timing. He and Carly were talking about Strangerville.

And after dinner, Carly grabbed Austin to blow out his candles.

And everyone enjoyed cake (well, Honey's family).

Phillip opened a bottle of nectar but I didn't know how to get Honey and Rowan to have some so Carly and Phillip drank their dessert.

And then Phillip took his nectar to the tub. I admit this looked relaxing, but never saw anyone do that before.

And Austin aged up into the hooded pajamas and was exhausted and had sunglasses on so I had no idea what he looked like until I went into CAS. This is Austin as a toddler.

Counting Down to Moving Day

 Carly, Day 209, July 28, 2026

Only a few days left in July, I can't believe it! Watcher has been working on the Tomarang house more than playing with the family so these are just some random happenings. 

Amelia accepted the feed yourself formative moment and so she helped prepare dinner a few times.

Austin has liked most of the foods that he has tried.

Amelia often autonomously hugs or kisses Em.

And Amelia completed the aspiration that involves learning to ride a bike.

And Watcher was not sure if Carly could walk Em and have Austin in the back carrier and was pleased that it worked.

And Amelia brought Kara home from school. Amelia is playing peek a boo with Austin.

And then they went out back to play.

It was a Monday though so Amelia had homework and a school project to do. So after Kara left, they started on that.

I was going to wait to age Austin up until after the move or right before, but he has completed so many milestones, I am just going to get him aged up (Watcher was being lazy about having to switch out the crib to a toddler bed right before the move 😊) He is mobile now.

And this is just a funny, weird thing. They all act like the playset can't be walked around -- it can be, but instead of walking around it, they all just go up the stairs and then slide when they take the trash out.

On a side note, Amelia's cousin in Ondarion - Harrison - also aged to child. He will probably be at some parties. Spencer is a little behind and will be a toddler for a bit with Austin. 

And these are some pictures from the Tomarang house. The structure is from the gallery, but I have redone the interior of the house and the yard - still a work in progress but it is livable now. Carly is only completing one aspiration in Tomarang because I am afraid to do anything with rentals. She will only complete Fount of Tomarani knowledge and maybe Seeker of Secrets (if it doesn't involve having to be a landlord or a tenant).

It is one level. There are 4 bedrooms but I turned one into a playroom.

Amelia Grows Up

 Carly, Day 208, July 27, 2026

Amelia aged up with this hair and I ended up keeping it. This is her coming home from her first day of school which she said was exciting.

But it is summer in Strangerville and that's a lot of hair, so with her swimsuit and hot weather outfits, she has it pulled back. I am really going to miss the lazy days of Strangerville and hanging by the pool and the vibrant landscape.

And now that Amelia is a child, she can pick little Em up for a hug.

But with childhood comes school and homework. Phillip helped her on her first day.

And there's a new baby. Austin has been doing great on his milestones and I am expecting he will be a toddler when they get to Tomarang.

Em keeps a close eye on all the children.

And Austin has already leaned to crawl and can now crawl to Em.

Amelia loves her little brother too and comes in to entertain him or play with him.

And Amelia joined scouts right away. This is her picking up her first badge, but she has 3 now I think.

New Baby

 Carly, Day 207, July 26, 2026

Watcher had a lofty goal that since Carly hasn't had much time for visits with friends this month, she would invite just one family at a time over. Since Amelia and Eric hit it off really well at the toddler play date, Carly and Phillip invited Jace, Twila, Kara, and Eric over for a cook-out. Twila and Jace disappeared for a bit and turns out maybe they don't get a lot of quiet time together. Eric and Kara were having fun with Amelia, so we left them alone. 

Jace is still enjoying his pink sunglasses and nose rings.

And Phillip took Eric over but maybe his movement isn't high enough, so he watched Amelia.

Don't know why Kara is having that thought bubble.

And Amelia met Jace.

And everyone was sharing baby pictures.

And it was getting dark, so Amelia gave Eric a big hug.

And he played a bit with his Mom before the party was over.

The plan was the next night to invite over Cebolla, Kristen and the boys, but Carly entered her third trimester and they decided to just wait for Baby 2 to arrive.

And Amelia is now a big sister to a little baby brother. She is very excited about it.

And Em would never be left out. She came in to say hello also.

And last to meet him was Phillip. Calm down, you missed it all.

And Carly didn't hesitate to age him up.  He kept most of this outfit and he kept the hair that he aged up with. He has Carly's brown eyes and Phillip's brown hair. Looks like he might also have Carly's fair skin.

Amelia also aged up. I will share her pics in tomorrow's update.
