Counting Down to Moving Day

Only a few days left in July, I can't believe it! Watcher has been working on the Tomarang house more than playing with the family so these are just some random happenings. 

Amelia accepted the feed yourself formative moment and so she helped prepare dinner a few times.

Austin has liked most of the foods that he has tried.

Amelia often autonomously hugs or kisses Em.

And Amelia completed the aspiration that involves learning to ride a bike.

And Watcher was not sure if Carly could walk Em and have Austin in the back carrier and was pleased that it worked.

And Amelia brought Kara home from school. Amelia is playing peek a boo with Austin.

And then they went out back to play.

It was a Monday though so Amelia had homework and a school project to do. So after Kara left, they started on that.

I was going to wait to age Austin up until after the move or right before, but he has completed so many milestones, I am just going to get him aged up (Watcher was being lazy about having to switch out the crib to a toddler bed right before the move 😊) He is mobile now.

And this is just a funny, weird thing. They all act like the playset can't be walked around -- it can be, but instead of walking around it, they all just go up the stairs and then slide when they take the trash out.

On a side note, Amelia's cousin in Ondarion - Harrison - also aged to child. He will probably be at some parties. Spencer is a little behind and will be a toddler for a bit with Austin. 

And these are some pictures from the Tomarang house. The structure is from the gallery, but I have redone the interior of the house and the yard - still a work in progress but it is livable now. Carly is only completing one aspiration in Tomarang because I am afraid to do anything with rentals. She will only complete Fount of Tomarani knowledge and maybe Seeker of Secrets (if it doesn't involve having to be a landlord or a tenant).

It is one level. There are 4 bedrooms but I turned one into a playroom.

 Carly, Day 57, February 26, 2026 Carly intended for just the girls to get together for dinner so they could talk about Jace and Ashley, but Carly forgets that if a few of them get together, it's a club meeting. Back At Home

 Carly, Day 146, May 26, 2026 The best thing about coming home after a long vacation... Em: Mommy, mommy, I missed you. Carly: I missed you too cutie pie. Carly was a little rusty with her swordsmanship training though. Carly: Ouch! And Carly started right in on trying to complete the social puppeteer. She thought maybe she could get some secrets at some of the bars, so after Phillip went to sleep, Carly headed out. She got enough secrets to complete the third part of the aspiration. Look how muscular everyone is though. It was definitely that decree. I had Phillip remove it so we'll see if people stop being so muscular. For the fourth part, she has to expose the royal burglar and she has to become friends with the Information Broker, as well as deal with 10 more secrets. But she is able to hack for the secrets in that last phase so she has been doing that too. And all of these interactions with the nobles has increased her rank with the nobles to where she outranks Phillip.  ...

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. That little want she has in the corner is to woohoo with Paolo.  Watcher: Carly, you still have to finish one more homework. Carly: Watcher says I have to do this one homework before we whatever.
