End of First Term

 Carly, Day 95, April 5, 2026

Carly knows that finishing University is her top priority and she couldn't be distracted by cute guys like Paolo. After their date, she got the rest of her schoolwork done and then wanted to make a trip to Gibbi Point on Sunday to see her friend Tae and his new kittens and meet his sister. Things did not go as planned as Watcher messed up placing the lot and it was still marked as a cafe (which is what that lot was when Carly lived in Gibbi Point) but without any cafe stuff so basically closed off from being able to visit. 

But while she was there, Paolo called and asked her on a lunch date. This is a fancy restaurant (from the gallery) I put in Del Sol Valley so I figured it was OK to go there. 

Carly accepted and sort of forgot she had Em with her and so Em came along on the date. 

And of course, the true way to Carly's heart is through Em.

Luckily the restaurant did not seem to mind Em coming along and Paolo got changed into his formal wear.

Lots of good conversation and flirting.

Paolo seemed fascinated by experimental food.

Octavia is actually pregnant in this picture. She had called Carly and asked if they should have a baby and Carly said to do it, so pretty sure she is having one.

Meanwhile, I looked for Em and she was asleep and of all people, Judith Ward was the one who would probably be most annoyed by a dog in a restaurant. But she didn't wake up.

And after the meal was over, they headed upstairs to the dance floor where they could now try the waltz together. 

The date ended and Carly went home, not expecting to find that Paolo came home with her. 

Paolo seemed surprised to be there too, like the aliens had dropped him there.

So why not make the most of it. Carly ended up trying out her new hot tub.

Carly: I was hoping I could see that tattoo I gave you.

Carly: Watcher, go away.

And they had some fun and Carly sent him home. It was a school day. And it was almost morning.

She focused for the next few days on her schoolwork and got done with her first term. 

Meanwhile she got this phone call. 

She chose the first choice, but he has not called for a date yet. Not sure if she is supposed to call him. He said he was happy about it.  We'll see what comes of it. 

And of course, you can tell fall is happening right now. It is very pretty in the fall in Britechester. Now I wish I had 30 day seasons. But don't want a 30 day winter! 

And yes, she finally got Tae's lot fixed and did make a visit, but I will share that in next post.
