Carly Winterfest Eve

 It is Winterfest Eve and Carly had school. During lunch, she thought she could do some papercrafting since she wasn't hungry. She did not even get credit for making an animal. What is that? She might display it though. 


After school she went to the gym and then to the cafe. The cafe has some archery targets so she finally got to practice that, then got archer's elbow and had to quit. 


Then she grabbed a drink in the cafe and gazed out at the docks. 


When she got home, late as usual, she put up her Winterfest decorations. She might invite her friends over and give them all some presents tomorrow. Someone may wind up with that finely crafted thing she made at school.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. Tattoo Shop Opening

 Carly, Day 61, March 2, 2026 When Carly got home from the restaurant, she was feeling very independent and happy for their lives in Nordhaven. She told Em all about the shop opening the next day. Carly: Now Em, you will be the shop's official greeter while I tend the tattoo table. Everyone will love you, you are so cute. Em: Woof!  The next day, Carly officially opened the shop. Carly tending the table. And she spotted a familiar face. Carly: Pants off Paolo. You are getting a leg tattoo. Carly is very serious about her work. And she got her first good review from Paolo. Carly thinking she may need to get a closer look at that someday to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. Matteo was her next customer. Carly: I know you are getting an arm tattoo.
