Carly's Nordhaven House

 Day 47

Carly's watcher is making a Nordhaven house for her that is too expensive and Carly wanted to just make art all weekend to try to afford it, but something always comes up. But this is the house. It is a work in progress but I have managed to reduce it by about 30,000 simoleons, so it is coming into range. It is from the gallery and is called Inked Inlet Tattoo Studio.

I forgot that I put a big gym on that 50 x 40 lot behind her house but I don't know that she will have time for the gym anyway so I could always knock that down to put someone else's lot there.

The main living area, but still a work in progress and she will bring her refrigerator for the opening in the kitchen and a lot of her kitchen clutter she will bring for the shelves.

The upper floor is the bedroom area and her bed will come with her and probably other stuff from her bedroom and then her plants will be on those balconies and probably getting rid of the furniture out there because I got away from the black theme of the house. Maybe her easel will be out there. Up the ladder from that floor is the rooftop patio. I didn't get a picture of that yet. 

And the entry floor is the business and to the left is the entrance to the home part which still needs decorating. Yes, it is a tattoo studio, but I am still working on the other activities for customers while they wait but there is definitely a stereo for dancing and TV and video games. Maybe a foosball table. Not sure what those empty rooms will be if anything and if they will belong to the business. The artwork throughout the house will be from her own inventory of photos and paintings that she has created.

Saturday Carly got a call from Rowan about a pre-prom party. She has been declining all of those recently sometimes because she is not sure where the person lives and/or it is just someone she doesn't know that well. But since it was Rowan, she accepted. 

Poor Honey has a wilted flower and is sad. I think Jace is the only one smiling in that whole group. 

Maybe we are all just frustrated because we know there is not going to a be a prom after the pre-prom party. Carly tried cheering Honey up. 

No one ever went in Rowan's apartment. We all just stood out there in the hallway. The girl taking a selfie beside Honey is royalty. She's a teen and I think her name was Aramachi. 

And then there was no prom, so everyone just vanished. Carly made a peculiar plumbird mask finally and wanted to show it to Louis.

Louis: I like that mask.
Carly: I made it myself. 



Louis: You look silly. 
Carly: I need another vacation. I am talking to a fish while wearing a bird mask.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. Tattoo Shop Opening

 Carly, Day 61, March 2, 2026 When Carly got home from the restaurant, she was feeling very independent and happy for their lives in Nordhaven. She told Em all about the shop opening the next day. Carly: Now Em, you will be the shop's official greeter while I tend the tattoo table. Everyone will love you, you are so cute. Em: Woof!  The next day, Carly officially opened the shop. Carly tending the table. And she spotted a familiar face. Carly: Pants off Paolo. You are getting a leg tattoo. Carly is very serious about her work. And she got her first good review from Paolo. Carly thinking she may need to get a closer look at that someday to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. Matteo was her next customer. Carly: I know you are getting an arm tattoo. Trust me, it will end up on your arm.
