Carly's Day Off

 Since her watcher ruined Winterfest Day, Carly was allowed to take a vacation day on Thursday.


But it was to make some headway on this Critter Hunter Aspiration. She finished her paper mache animals finally. 


She bought a fish and a fish bowl and named the fish Louis. 


I hope she doesn't have to do anything like feed him or change the water or he won't be around long. And then she went and taught a spin class. It's 110 per person - not bad. 


She got enough archery practice in to be able to go bowfishing. 


And she tried fishing with a friend and even invited her friend Addison, but eventually had to cheat that one 


Then she ran into Irene and cooked her some dinner - fried jellyfish.

Carly: This looks awful, but it's not bad. 
Irene: I'm glad you said it. It does not look good.
Carly: In my game, it says we have awful compatibility, not just bad, awful, but I don't know why. We like alot of the same things. I am glad we are good friends in spite of that! 

And Carly still had her homework to do and got a visitor while she was working on it. Maybe she needs a door you can't see through. 

Carly: Go away, Don. I am just a teenager and it is late at night. 

Friday, she aced her exams again. Jeb called and invited us to the spice festival. I am kind of over the spice festival, but I gathered everyone up and we went. 


And then everyone was interrogating Carly. 

Tae: I wish Kiyoshi was here. He is dreamy. Why didn't you invite him? 
Carly: I thought you were over him.
Tae: It's complicated. 
Honey: How come you never put Rowan in your game? Wish he were here.
Carly: I will. I don't want to mess up his hair but I will add him. 
Irene: Why didn't you invite Wolfie?
Carly: Because he's too old for you right now. But he's in Strangerville.
Cebolla: Where is Kristen? She would love the spice festival. 
Carly: I will download her for the next party.
Jace: I like that new girl - where is she?
Carly: Next party, she will be there! Mrs. Prescott, why are you following me?

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. Tattoo Shop Opening

 Carly, Day 61, March 2, 2026 When Carly got home from the restaurant, she was feeling very independent and happy for their lives in Nordhaven. She told Em all about the shop opening the next day. Carly: Now Em, you will be the shop's official greeter while I tend the tattoo table. Everyone will love you, you are so cute. Em: Woof!  The next day, Carly officially opened the shop. Carly tending the table. And she spotted a familiar face. Carly: Pants off Paolo. You are getting a leg tattoo. Carly is very serious about her work. And she got her first good review from Paolo. Carly thinking she may need to get a closer look at that someday to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. Matteo was her next customer. Carly: I know you are getting an arm tattoo.
