First Day in Britechester

 Carly, Day 91, April 1, 2026

Carly was still wide awake when her birthday party ended and she still had to pack everything up to go to Britechester. Feeling sad and excited, not knowing what young adulthood would bring. 

Carly (thinking):I was really looking forward to aging up, but I don't feel that different. Maybe once I start school, things will be different. Childhood still feels like yesterday and I still don't know what the future holds for me. Everyone else is finding their soulmates, and I just don't feel that way about anyone. Maybe someday I will meet my Prince Charming. 

Carly thinking: At least I found something I love - tattooing. Feels so empty now. 

Carly: What do you think EmmaLou? Think we can make a go of it here?
Em: Woof. 

Carly: It's pretty here, in a historic way, don't you think?
Em: Woof.


Carly: I think this might be the library, Em. I will have to come back here and explore.

Carly: Em, there's Aunt Irene. I wonder what she is carrying.

Irene: I am part of the Welcome Wagon and we were headed over to your house to offer you this fruitcake.
Carly: And I was going to call and invite everyone over to dinner tonight! 

The rest of the Welcome Wagon. But Carly's walk got buggy and Carly and Em did not make it back in time. In my simverse, Honey, Rowan, Irene and Wolfie, and their animals (except I don't have Shadow yet) live together. Cebolla, Lilith and Ghast live next door to them. Ringtail is with Kristin. 

Meanwhile, Carly got this phone call. 
Carly said that she thought Honey should decide for herself.

Honey was not happy with that answer.

Carly did throw her dinner party and didn't know if they were engaged or not.




Carly going to sit with Honey to make sure she's not still mad at her and to find out what happened with the ring.

It's official. Honey and Rowan are engaged! 

Carly started playing Don't Wake the Llama.


Is this Ashley doing a spell? I heard quite a loud sound and then scanned back and there was big burst of smoke, reddish. 

Everyone seemed fine and Honey was telling jokes afterward.

Meanwhile, when I looked for Irene and Wolfie, they were outside the entire night looking at stars. How romantic! They stayed until morning though because I didn't have an option to send home. I never found Lilith either.
I expect Irene to soon find a ring in Wolfie's bag.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. That little want she has in the corner is to woohoo with Paolo.  Watcher: Carly, you still have to finish one more homework. Carly: Watcher says I have to do this one homework before we whatever. Tattoo Shop Opening

 Carly, Day 61, March 2, 2026 When Carly got home from the restaurant, she was feeling very independent and happy for their lives in Nordhaven. She told Em all about the shop opening the next day. Carly: Now Em, you will be the shop's official greeter while I tend the tattoo table. Everyone will love you, you are so cute. Em: Woof!  The next day, Carly officially opened the shop. Carly tending the table. And she spotted a familiar face. Carly: Pants off Paolo. You are getting a leg tattoo. Carly is very serious about her work. And she got her first good review from Paolo. Carly thinking she may need to get a closer look at that someday to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. Matteo was her next customer. Carly: I know you are getting an arm tattoo.
