Honeymoon Concludes

 Carly, Day 145, May 25, 2026

After a good rest, Carly and Phillip continued exploring the temple. They were successful with some traps and were able to move deeper into the temple.


Eventually having slept in the temple, they decided to head back to town. They grabbed a drink at the Cantina.

It was crowded but they both enjoyed the Selvadoradan drink.

And back to the rental for some skinny dipping.


The next day they headed back to the temple.


They were at the point where they needed to defend against 2 natural dangers so instead of going right in the temple, they excavated for a while outside the temple.


It did work and they both were able to check that off the aspiration. Moving deeper into the temple, the traps got harder or they (Watcher) just made bad choices. Phillip guessed wrong on this trap.


And he caught on fire.

Thank goodness for fire foam.

And Carly guessed wrong on this one.


She got the poison dart to the neck.

Watcher: We should probably take care of that, but I think you are good for a bit.

And Carly found this great treasure which said was the end of the temple.


And she received the great blessing of becoming a skeleton.

Doesn't feel like a blessing.

After that, they headed back to town. Carly still was poisoned and needed the antidote.

Phillip: Lucy, you got some 'splaining to do.
Carly: Look I can play music on my ribs. 

And Carly headed into the museum and got the antidote.


And another selfie as a skeleton.


And they headed back to the rental to get some rest before they left to go home. Carly stayed up working on artifacts until she was no longer a skeleton. Then they looked at some stars before catching an early morning flight to Ondarion.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up.  Carly, Day 122, May 2, 2026 Carly came to Ondarion because of the invitation she received. The day had arrived for the Masquerade Ball.  Carly: How do I look? Watcher: I think you look beautiful.
