Odds and Ends

 Carly, Day 159, June 8, 2026

Phillip's job is not too demanding so Carly and Phillip do get to spend a lot of time together and with EmmaLou. Carly loves going for walks with her and Mt. Komorebi looks extra beautiful in the Fall.

Phillip needs to improve his handiness skill so Carly got him this old refrigerator to work on while she mentored him. They will probably use it in Strangerville.

Isabella stopped by for a visit and Em was quick to run out to greet her.

Not sure if this is why she came, but she very quickly challenged Carly to a duel. Two Queens dueling it out. Carly used to mentor her when she was just a teen.

Carly: I taught you well.

And Phillip likes to hang out with Em too and admire the Fall Beauty.

And Carly and Phillip attempted a hike through the bamboo forest late at night. It was a little eerie, but they had fun.

Carly: Why didn't you make me change out of sandals?
Phillip: Are you asking me or Watcher?
Carly: Either of you.

And they encountered some of the forest spirits.

They both made wishes but didn't tell Watcher what they wished for.

And they were both in awe of the temple when they got there.

And they had another chance to make wishes, but still not sharing with Watcher.

And another day of skiing. Carly is still not doing well, but did graduate to the easy slope.

Phillip though is doing quite well and is skiing on the intermediate slopes. He got the perfect run moodlet after one of his runs.

And they tested the hot springs they have at their home. I forgot it was there. It works.

First Journey to Ciudad

 Carly, Day 158, June 7, 2026

First up, I did get to work on Carly's pictures. She does have a lot of scenic pictures I have to deal with yet, but she made her friends photo wall and a photo wall of them. I am going to do their wedding pictures somewhere else, but didn't pick a spot yet.

And then I didn't think Carly was learning rock climbing very fast at the mountain, so I did put a gym in Mt. Komorebi that has the climbing machines and made a little dog area for Em. I thought I put the dog friendly trait on the lot, but I will have to check because no other dogs came in, but Em got lots of attention from others coming to the gym. And Carly got up to level 5. Phillip was on a noble venture and joined her later and got to level 4. I swear it is the slowest skill to gain.

I have to say too how much I love that outfit on Kristen.

And Carly has been using her amber ring a bit too much when they are spending time at home, but the forecast for the first five days they were there was for rain everyday. It's early fall, so a sunny warm day every now and then doesn't seem extraordinary. And Em does enjoy the pool.

I think she dives better than Phillip.

So, after I got done with the picture project, there was time in their day for them to either take a hike (which they need to do for the aspiration) or go visit someone. Visiting won and they took Em along for a visit to Ciudad to see Tae and family. This is a gallery house and I used so many here and forgot to write down the creators, but I like this one.

They met all the toddlers. I don't think I had Yuna's outfit (it might have been EbN) so I put her in that little butterfly shirt with the wings.

Em got some love from the toddlers.

And then we moved inside. Carly played dolls with Kenji.

And Carly and Phillip both got full friendship bars with all the children and with Alej. Every time Carly has met Alej he has been shirtless. He must love to swim.

I love Taco Zorro just about sitting in Alej's food. I don't know what Carly thinks is stinky.

And love this moment I saw of Tae playing with Davi. Such a good Dad. And later I saw him tucking Kenji in bed but didn't get a picture.

And I didn't take a picture of it because I was able to cancel it, but while they were visiting, Tae was getting abducted. 

Spooky Party in Mt. Komorebi

 Carly, Day 157, June 6, 2026

Spooky Day rolled around on the calendar and Carly and Phillip thought it would be fun to have a party. With going to 28 day seasons, it is a while between Fall seasons now. And Phillip of course had never been to a Spooky Party. Carly prepared food and was quite proud of her spooky cookies.

And she made the call to invite her friends over. Lawson, Honey, and Isabella were the first to show off. Yes, Honey is the Llamacorn Mascot.

And more arrivals. Sorry Tae, for some reason Alej disappeared from Carly's friends again. So did Lex. So when she gets over to meet those toddlers, hopefully it will stick this time.

Irene is the astronaut, Kristen is the pirate, Cebolla is the fairy, Tae is a zombie and Mirza is military or something.

Carly and Phillip had to each carve a pumpkin. Lilith and Tae both found them in the garage and came back to talk to them. Phillip is Grim.

And eventually everyone got called to the meal and there was the usual mad rush for food.

That wall with the group photo on it is going to have a lot of Carly's friend photos, but she has so many photos to go through, I keep postponing that job.

Lawson and Rowan were both pizza guys. Darth Vader is Uncle Simon. 

And Carly finally got done with her pumpkin and came to the party. And started cleaning up.

Em got some love from Jace.

And Kristen and Cebolla looked very much in love.

And a lot of the group gathered in that room for dancing.

Rowan decided to catch up on some reading. He probably reached his limit of socializing.

And Irene was working on her act upstairs.

Trying to Find a Routine

 Carly, Day 156, June 5, 2026

Carly and Phillip are going to try to go every other day to work on rock climbing or other mountain sports. So after their first day of skiing, they spent the day at home. Phillip got his promotion and is now King of Mt. Komorebi, which means Carly is Queen again.

Carly and Em tried out the obstacle course. She's such a good girl.

And Mom was very proud of her.

Phillip tried out the pool. I didn't realize he never tried diving when they were in Ondarion. He had some problems.

And Carly and Phillip had a friendly duel.

And look who won.

And the next day it was back to the mountain. They ran into these two friendly faces. I think they were going to try sledding again.

Carly was able to head to the medium rock climbing area.

And Phillip had to start on the smaller wall. He eventually gained enough skill to try the medium rocks before they left.

They tried the restaurant again for dinner and this time got their food. Carly has always used chopsticks, but Phillip struggled using his. He'll get used to it.

The next day is spooky day. Carly hasn't had a party in a while for spooky day, so maybe there will be some type of costume party coming up. 

First Day on Slopes

 Carly, Day 155, June 4, 2026

So Carly and Phillip woke up and had a good breakfast. It could have been pancakes, but it wasn't. 

Then they headed off to the ski slopes. Neither of them has ever been skiing.

Carly checked the ski conditions.

And they both headed to the bunny slope. Carly did not do so well.

Carly fell every time and had that Close Call moodlet, so I let her wait for Phillip.

Phillip developed a love a skiing and made it to the easy slopes.

And after he tried a run there, they both headed for a soak in the hot springs. Carly really needed it to get rid of that close call moodlet.

When they were feeling better, they went back out to try rock climbing. They both did well.

They were both hungry though, so they went back to their neighborhood to try the local sushi restaurant.

I use this restaurant in my main save and never had an issue, but the service was slow and the waitress dropped their food so I had them abandon the table. They were starving and tired when they left. They will try it again.
