Puppies!

Just some pictures of Casey and Stanley.

Casey on the left, Stanley on the right. They have smiles like their Grandma Maple and Truffle!

He got a hug. Maybe Amelia is surprised how light he is.

Stanley can't be left out.

Pre-Puppy Happenings

 Carly, Day 235, August 23, 2026

Carly spent a lot of time for about 1 and a half sim weeks trying to get Em to have puppies, but while that was going on, the kids were going about their usual days. They've both been bringing kids home from school on a regular basis. Carly says no if it isn't a name she recognizes. One day they each brought one of their cousins home. It was not a good pool day which is why there is an umbrella, but that is where Austin decided to do homework and they followed.

The rain cleared up and Austin and Spencer played hopscotch.

Amelia reached a point where she was not a bear, but a few days later, she was a bear again. A scout and a bear eating pizza.

I almost had everyone dining together outside but then Phillip got up to clean up his plate. I have to work on that more.

Carly hung around the house with Em when Em was expecting and the kids went down to the fishing pier with Dad.

A stranger joined them but they still had a great day with Dad.

And that helped Austin to complete all of his scout badges! Yay!

And Melody stopped over one night late, in the rain. I thought maybe she was making a stop on her way to Moonwood Mill. Austin was the only one still up so he invited her in to play video games.

And one of them brought Eric home from school. They played the Llama game with him.

And Watcher forgot to get any family photos when Austin was an infant and a toddler. So they at least got their portrait as kids. I think I have another one to try with 2 children. I also have some sibling poses to try, but forgot when they were there.

Family Fun Night

 Carly, Day 234, August 22, 2026

While on the wait for the puppies vigil, Phillip suggested they all get out of the house for a while. It was a Saturday night so they all went to Newcrest to bowl.

Phillip went first. Ouch!

Amelia went next. It was a good effort.

And then it was Austin's turn. He had a different style.

And nobody, even Phillip, knew that Mom was like a pro. All those high school get togethers!

And Amelia fell on her next attempt.

They only played 3 frames - Mom won. Then the girls headed to the bathrooms and Austin and Dad tried roller skating. 

And Austin and Amelia tried out the karaoke machine.

It was a fun night for everyone. 

Kid Stuff

 Carly, Day 228, August 16, 2026

On Sunday, the family went back to the park (I had made room there for Austin to learn bike riding). Carly and Amelia played Rock Paper Scissors while Phillip helped Austin. I had Amelia on that one aspiration, Coolest Kid, but she had to make 3 kid friends and when she made 2 more and it didn't check off, we abandoned that aspiration. She is on Playtime Captain now and that would be her last one.

Austin did learn to ride a bike - he had to skip his scout meeting.

And Amelia saw some kids at the playground and went to meet them (they are the ones that didn't check off) and she became a bear.

The next morning was a school day. Carly talked to Amelia about her bear costume.

Don't know how successful that was, but she is cute giving her brother a bear hug.

After the kids left for school, Willow called Phillip and asked if she could come over. Must have been a Holiday in Windenburg, but Phillip said yes. This is not her everyday outfit - she is wearing what I gave her for a winter outfit - it got cold in Tomarang.

So Phillip asked her to play video games, hoping she'd stick around until the kids got home.

And then Melody came home from school with Austin.

And the kids played video games.

And it was a Monday, so there were two school projects to do after the other kids left.

And we did check the mail, and no plushies, unless they went to household inventory. I didn't check there yet. Maybe we can try again. 

Aspiration Complete

 Carly, Day 227, August 15, 2026

Saturday after the Spooky party, Carly and Phillip decided to try to find the cave. Austin had to head to a scout meeting but Amelia did come along, but she stayed on the beach.

Carly went into the cave. Phillip is a little behind Carly in the aspiration and still needed to eat at the night market before moving to that next phase.

Austin arrived after his scout meeting and he and Amelia built a sand sculpture.

And Carly finished exploring the cave.

Then they all headed to the National Park so Austin could work on bike riding.

Carly was tired though and Austin had to pee, so they ended the lesson and went home. Carly went to bed, but Phillip took the kids down to the night market. They played rock, paper, scissors while he got something to eat.

And then Hide and Seek. Amelia hid in the trash can.

Austin wasn't even in the right block looking for her, so I had to help him.

He found her.

Then they both got something to eat and hung with Dad for a while. Austin earned his first scout badge in sociability. Now that Carly has her aspiration, Austin can get a bit more attention.

And just a picture of Em getting a hug. Carly was mentoring Amelia in papercrafting and Amelia got up to hug Em.
