First Weekend in Nordhaven

 Carly, Day 62, March 3, 2026

Carly may open the shop on the weekends in the future, but she needed to go meet some of the sims that are important to her close friends that she had not met yet. She knew that she and Juwon would get along just great. Juwon is so sweet - they were laughing and joking the whole time. 

And Tae was in a playful mood too. 

I really don't know where I put people anymore. I had to kick all residents of Nordhaven out of their homes and fill any empty lots. So I can't even tell you what lot this is, but it has ceramics stuff. Might be a gallery lot or one of the existing Nordhaven lots. 

And then it was on to Jace's house - I think I put them in the one tattoo place, knowing I would change the activity. And Carly met Ashley and they are good friends now, although it was a bit awkward because Jace kept wanting to tell Carly secrets and then hug her.

Carly woke up the next day and winter was setting in, but she took Em for a jog since it had been raining a lot and Em kept asking for a walk. 

And then Carly had a dinner party for everyone. Lillith is happy about it! And Rowan has hair. And I think I have to take Juwon's make up off. I don't think he looks like that in Tae's game - maybe it is a party outfit thing?

Everyone seemed to eat dessert, Baked Alaska, first.

Ashley: Jace, do you ever think about anything but food?

Tae: Do you guys coordinate your outfits before you go out? Maybe Juwon and I should do that. 
Jace: Isn't anyone going to notice my hair? 
Tae: You didn't say anything about my hair. But yeah, great hair, Jace.
Jace: You too, but Carly's watcher didn't go get you your custom hair. She just did that for me.
Ashley: Would you two stop it already!

Someone got sleepy.

And when everyone was leaving, Em got some of the rack of lamb.

And then Carly opened the shop on Monday and I can't say it was a disaster, but it was very upsetting and I know I have to play again but, I haven't yet. She has a TV in the waiting area and the video game thing but every single person that came in the shop only watched the static channel. It was non stop and I ended up getting rid of the TV. I kept turning it off and someone would turn it on immediately, off, on, off, on. That stupid ghosty thing must have happened 10 times in just a few hours until I got rid of the TV. I was so worried about little EmmaLou. And after I deleted the TV, then multiple disruptive customers. I expect disruptive customers, part of the game, but it was really over the top with the TV and then the customers. So anyway, the only picture was Morlind when he passed out from the ghosty thing. Had that been the only time, maybe it was funny. And it never happened Friday when she opened.
