Another Day at the Dog (Pet) Park

 Carly, Day 117, April 27, 2026

With Spring comes lots of rain in Britechester. Em kept letting Carly know she wanted a walk and it was pouring outside. Carly could have put an amber ring on but she thought she might see if it was a nice day in Newcrest first. They went to the Pet Park and it was raining a little but the calendar said it was a mystery weather day in Newcrest, so Carly thought it might clear up. 

Carly and Em started doing the obstacle course when Carly spotted Jace and Honey


Carly thought for sure that means Gilda and Moxie are here. She did not find Gilda but she spotted Moxie.


She was very focused on getting to the little building. Carly kept trying to be friendly but Moxie was not stopping. 

No wonder she wouldn't stop. Moxie found a mouse hole.

Watcher completely ignored Em getting a perfect score on the obstacle course and wanted to see if Moxie could get that mouse.

Moxie is so ready. Her little behind was wiggling.

There it is! Get him Moxie!
Oh Moxie, that was a good try! You were so close.

Carly never got to interact with Moxie because then she left, but it was fun watching her adventure with the mouse. But, so many other animals were there. Carly saw Louie.


And Em saw her brother.
Em: Hey Just Truffle! Wanna play?

The park was very crowded and it was fun seeing random kids playing as well.
Jace was still there, but I did see Moxie leave.

Carly played fetch with Em while Ghast went to sleep.

And Cebolla was there and I didn't see Ringtail, but I am just thinking now I bet I know where he was.
Carly: I forgot to congratulate you and Kristen the other day! I am so happy that you two are moving together and got engaged! Once we get settled, we'll all catch up again.

And finally, Gilda made an appearance as Carly was starting to go on a walk with EmmaLou.
Carly: You are such a beautiful girl. Where were you hiding all day?

And from another world, King Phillip decided he wanted to try entering a horse competition in Chestnut Ridge. They got silver, but when he left, I missed Chestnut Ridge and had him go for a little ride and they ran into someone.
 
And he turned to look at Jace. I thought it wouldn't hurt if he met him, but I don't think they did interact. I think it canceled the interaction.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. That little want she has in the corner is to woohoo with Paolo.  Watcher: Carly, you still have to finish one more homework. Carly: Watcher says I have to do this one homework before we whatever. Tattoo Shop Opening

 Carly, Day 61, March 2, 2026 When Carly got home from the restaurant, she was feeling very independent and happy for their lives in Nordhaven. She told Em all about the shop opening the next day. Carly: Now Em, you will be the shop's official greeter while I tend the tattoo table. Everyone will love you, you are so cute. Em: Woof!  The next day, Carly officially opened the shop. Carly tending the table. And she spotted a familiar face. Carly: Pants off Paolo. You are getting a leg tattoo. Carly is very serious about her work. And she got her first good review from Paolo. Carly thinking she may need to get a closer look at that someday to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. Matteo was her next customer. Carly: I know you are getting an arm tattoo. Trust me, it will end up on your arm.
