Beautiful Day in Ondarion

 Carly, Day 125, May 5, 2026

The sun was shining bright in Ondarion when Carly woke up the next morning. She decided to try out that new pool. Em was curious about it.


But she hopped right in.

Em is happy to have her own pool.

Ok, I'll let Mom use it too.


And then Carly called and invited Phillip over. They looked at clouds and talked about old times and new dreams. It was like the time they spent apart had just melted away and their friendship was as strong as ever.

Em: Don't forget about me! Woof!

And of course, now that they were older, they were both feeling more than friendship for the other.


Day turned into night and cloud gazing turned into star gazing.

Phillip: Carly, do you remember where our stars are? I used to go out at night and lay in the grass and hope that you were looking at them too.
Carly: Yes, I loved knowing that you might be looking at them too. Hmmm, do we have to rename yours?
Phillip: No, we will keep them Austin and Sunflower.

Carly: I think there is a new little one right next to ours, do you see it?
Phillip: Yep, let's call that one EmmaLou.

Carly: I like that.
Phillip: I like it here with you. It's so peaceful back here.But I do have to get going.

They all headed out front to say good night - EmmaLou too.

Phillip: EmmaLou, I hope I get to see more of you. You're a sweetie. And I really like your Mom.

Phillip: You know, I've never had a girlfriend. But there is something I've been wanting to do since I first saw you.

Phillip: May I kiss you good night?

Carly: I've been wanting you to do that too.

Phillip: Are you sure?



And they had their first kiss.


And Phillip went home, and Carly tried out her new grill and she hasn't stopped smiling.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up.  Carly, Day 122, May 2, 2026 Carly came to Ondarion because of the invitation she received. The day had arrived for the Masquerade Ball.  Carly: How do I look? Watcher: I think you look beautiful.
