Isabella's Birthday

 Carly, Day 124, May 4, 2026

The day after the ball was a work day for Carly, which Watcher forgot about and forgot to have her take a vacation day.  So she worked until 6.  I decided to have Carly go to the palace for the party and be in control of her, and not the family, so it got weird. And I wanted Em to go along. So they arrived at the palace early evening.

You probably can't see it here, but Carly all of sudden grew huge muscles. I had to go into CAS and get rid of some muscle after this night. For those of you going to Ondarion, I think it is swordsmanship. It is similar to rock climbing in the muscle mass it builds. Carly used a sword once for about 30 sim minutes. 

Carly did not get to meet Isabella at the Ball so we tried to find her. She was already in her nightgown headed upstairs and we found her in the bathroom. 

Isabella is a horse lover so I thought she would enjoy dogs as well.

And Isabella did seem to really like her. Well, who doesn't like Em?

And I knew that they had a cake in their refrigerator, so the plan was to have Carly place that cake in the world, add candles, and have Isabella blow them out. But this is the place where Carly thought it would be good to put the cake. And just to let you know, she probably passed by more than a dozen surfaces to get upstairs to this bathroom. There is literally a huge kitchen, a dining room, and a banquet room on the first floor.
Watcher: Carly, does that look like a good place for the cake?
Carly: Probably not.
Watcher: Does it let you put candles on it?
Carly: No. Now what?
Watcher: Well, you are going to have to take that cake back downstairs and make a cake because I can't trust you to not bring it back up here.
Carly: OK, but I do have to pee.
Watcher: Not here - you put that cake away first!

So Carly proceeded to take the cake back to the fridge, use the downstairs bathroom, and then make a cake.
That is Uncle Simon on the left. 

She got the cake made and then Simon and Phillip disappeared, so it was just Carly and Isabella.
Isabella is the heir to the throne, so it is important for her to get aged up. She will have some teenager time though.

She did not age up well - she's beautiful, but she needed some help with her clothing choices and hair.
It is hard to see, but I think she had just about every face piercing, flowery gloves, and of course rings over the gloves, and that dress doesn't look like an everyday outfit for a horse-loving teenager.

So this is her makeover.

But before that, Carly gave her some handmade earrings as a birthday gift. She loved them.

Meanwhile, Em wasn't sure about this man.
She's a good judge of character, but she was really studying him.

But Em got some pets.

And then Carly said Good Night and she and Em headed home.
Good Night and maybe don't eat that black and white cake that is in your fridge.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up.  Carly, Day 122, May 2, 2026 Carly came to Ondarion because of the invitation she received. The day had arrived for the Masquerade Ball.  Carly: How do I look? Watcher: I think you look beautiful. That dress suits you.  Carly: I like it. Thank you. Watcher: You're all grown up now. Carly: Do I need more lipstick? Watcher: No, you look good. By the way, I would.  Carly: Would what?
