Honeymoon in Selvadorada

Carly and Phillip stayed home for a day after the wedding before leaving for their honeymoon. Watcher wanted to get the patio back to normal and get rid of the wedding stuff. And did get a couple photos of the bride and groom before tearing it down. I think this is my favorite.

And Isabella will be in charge of Em while Carly is away. This walk did not go so well, but we aren't going to worry. 

If you are going to Ondarion, I have found that walking a dog in Belacorde is not as good as walking a dog in Verdemar. They got stuck a few times and Em decided to go to sleep and poor Isabella was in terrible need of a shower. It is pretty common on walks in Belacorde for them to have a hard time getting home.

The newlyweds headed off to Selvadorada early on Sunday morning. They booked the house for 7 days but we will see how homesick they get. First things first, Carly gifted Phillip a hematite ring, knowing the jungle can be a dangerous place.

And then they headed into the town center to get some supplies. They both got started on their aspiration by viewing the statue together.

And bought some supplies for the jungle.

Some dancing.

And enjoying Selvadoradian cuisine.

And then back to the rental for some relaxation in the hot tub.

And they are both apparently missing EmmaLou.

And after a good night's rest, the next day they went into the jungle. Carly is working on both the archeology aspiration and the jungle one, so she will do most of the excavating. Phillip is working on the jungle one, but he doesn't have to complete it.

Phillip opened up the first passage. Carly knew to give him lots of room.

And along the way they had some fun.

And Carly found her first treasure.

And they made it to the bridge. The vastness of Selvadorada is beautiful and overwhelming.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up.  Carly, Day 122, May 2, 2026 Carly came to Ondarion because of the invitation she received. The day had arrived for the Masquerade Ball.  Carly: How do I look? Watcher: I think you look beautiful.
