Family Time

 Carly, Day 199, July 18, 2026

Carly to Watcher: I thought you weren't going to only do pictures of Amelia.

Watcher: There are pictures of Em too and you are in a few. 😊

Em was trained not to wake people up, but she wasn't trained not to bark. Luckily, with toddlers, her barking does not wake Amelia up. But EmmaLou, you know better. Little Amelia needs her rest.

Em: Woof -- wanna play?

And Em was tired anyway. I had to take the little loveseat out of Amelia's room to make room for her dollhouse, so she went to sleep in Carly and Phillip's room.

And EmmaLou woke up and came downstairs to greet Phillip.

And the weather was beautiful but a little chilly for Strangerville, so everyone stayed home and enjoyed some family time. Amelia had fun on her little playset.

Amelia got to go down the slide for the first time.

She went down a few times and loved it.

And Phillip enjoyed the slide.

And Em even got in on the action, although I am not sure dogs are supposed to do that because she got all stretchy as she went down, but she did go down.

And before Amelia got too sleepy, Carly worked with her on learning to talk.

Then it was nap time. Because she doesn't like bed time, she usually gets up right away. Not on EmmaLou's watch. Back to bed, young lady.

When she got up from her nap, it was late, but Phillip and Carly decided she was old enough to try out the Strangerville Diner. She actually seemed to like Grilled Cheese.

And Kristen and Cebolla came in and got a table. They must have had a sitter.
