Toddler Play Date

 Carly, Day 200, July 19, 2026

I wanted to have a toddler play date before any of the current toddlers start aging up. So we invited Eric, Leif, Leo, and Amelia's cousins Harrison and Spencer. Eric came on his own without Jace or Twila, but knowing Twila is expecting again, it makes sense they may have done a drop-off.

The one dark haired girl is not with our group but she is cute.

Amelia was drawn to her fellow red head.

And Eric seems a bit shy, but he became Amelia's first friend.

Spencer headed right for the slide.

And Leo coming over for some food. I apologize that I must like the little blue plaid shirt and used in on Leo and then also used it on Harrison. Ugh. It's a wonder they aren't all wearing it.

And Amelia making her first friend, Eric.

There were a lot of other children and toddlers running around all day and some adults that had the title Chaperone. I never saw that - is that a playground thing?

Some serious talk about princesses and such things.

They ended up getting gold on the party, but more than that, Amelia got to talk to all the other toddlers and start some friendships.

 Carly, Day 57, February 26, 2026 Carly intended for just the girls to get together for dinner so they could talk about Jace and Ashley, but Carly forgets that if a few of them get together, it's a club meeting. Back At Home

 Carly, Day 146, May 26, 2026 The best thing about coming home after a long vacation... Em: Mommy, mommy, I missed you. Carly: I missed you too cutie pie. Carly was a little rusty with her swordsmanship training though. Carly: Ouch! And Carly started right in on trying to complete the social puppeteer. She thought maybe she could get some secrets at some of the bars, so after Phillip went to sleep, Carly headed out. She got enough secrets to complete the third part of the aspiration. Look how muscular everyone is though. It was definitely that decree. I had Phillip remove it so we'll see if people stop being so muscular. For the fourth part, she has to expose the royal burglar and she has to become friends with the Information Broker, as well as deal with 10 more secrets. But she is able to hack for the secrets in that last phase so she has been doing that too. And all of these interactions with the nobles has increased her rank with the nobles to where she outranks Phillip.  ...

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. That little want she has in the corner is to woohoo with Paolo.  Watcher: Carly, you still have to finish one more homework. Carly: Watcher says I have to do this one homework before we whatever.
