Cupid's Corner

 Carly, Day 107, April 17, 2026

Carly had not heard from Akira or Paolo, so she decided to put herself out there on Cupid's Corner. She posted her profile. 


So she had selected Young Adults or Adults, thinking why limit it. But the first batch of singles seemed to all be from the pool of Adults and they were not Carly's (or Watcher's) type. 

Panya?! Uh, no. And aren't you married? Or a skeleton?


I am just going to say No, plus he's a grouch. 

Nice fish, but no. 

So then she switched it to Young Adult only and got a better batch of possibilities, and some people she already knew. 
Love you Juwon, but Carly would never do that to Tae. But it is good to see you.

Oh Paolo, what happened to you? You never called again.

And two maybes.
Music Lover, that's good. Goofball, not an awful trait. There's potential.

But Nelson really caught her eye. And he's romantic. Maybe, OK, yes. She asked Nelson on a date.

They met for dinner in Newcrest. 

Then Watcher got distracted by Rowan.

Just make sure that he's dining with Honey.
OK. They must have got a babysitter. 

And when Carly got a table, Nelson changed to his formal wear. He is a townie, but sometimes I will see a townie and think they have potential and edit them a bit. I have a feeling Nelson might have been edited.
I like the glasses.


They got along very well. 

Watcher got distracted for a moment when she heard violin music.
I never gave Rowan a violin so I am not sure where he got this from.

Watcher: What are you talking about? I was only gone a minute.
Carly: He's cute. I got nervous.


And a good night hug and it was a successful Cupid's Corner date.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. That little want she has in the corner is to woohoo with Paolo.  Watcher: Carly, you still have to finish one more homework. Carly: Watcher says I have to do this one homework before we whatever. Tattoo Shop Opening

 Carly, Day 61, March 2, 2026 When Carly got home from the restaurant, she was feeling very independent and happy for their lives in Nordhaven. She told Em all about the shop opening the next day. Carly: Now Em, you will be the shop's official greeter while I tend the tattoo table. Everyone will love you, you are so cute. Em: Woof!  The next day, Carly officially opened the shop. Carly tending the table. And she spotted a familiar face. Carly: Pants off Paolo. You are getting a leg tattoo. Carly is very serious about her work. And she got her first good review from Paolo. Carly thinking she may need to get a closer look at that someday to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. Matteo was her next customer. Carly: I know you are getting an arm tattoo.
