Carly, Day 102, March 12, 2026
After her date with Akira, Carly felt a little lost. When she went up to go to bed, she knew what the problem was. She looked at the picture and only felt the hurt she had felt when her best friend had broken his promise to never leave her alone. All the plans they had made to travel and explore, climb mountains, explore jungles, all just lies in Carly's mind. Or just kids talking. She used to tell herself there must be a reason he couldn't reach out to her, always holding onto the dream, but no more. He was a young adult, just like her, there were no excuses. She would do all those things they talked about and she didn't need him to do them.

Carly: This ends now. Austin, I hope you are safe and happy in your new life. I know that I am and I am grateful for you in my childhood, but goodbye.
| Carly cried as she thought about giving up on him, but knew that it was holding her back. |
| Carly thinking that putting the picture away gave her just a little closure as she tried to face the reality that Austin had not ever looked for her. He had forgotten her. |
After a good night's sleep, the sun was shining bright in Britechester - Carly could feel winter coming to a close.
She held Em close to her and told her how much she loved her.
And Winterfest came around and Carly put the tree up and opened one present.
And then she looked for Em and found her a few blocks away listening to Rowan play the violin.
| I hope they made a lot of tips with her singing along to the violin music that was coming from somewhere. |
And when she came home, she got extra belly rubs.
And the next day, she still had off work, so Carly called and invited Akira over. She got the Woo Who? game for Winterfest from Watcher because she kept wanting to play it with Paolo. Watcher has seen bad results from it in her main save, but thought she could give it a try with Akira.
Carly: Thanks for coming over. Do you want to watch a movie or something? Akira: Sure. |
Watcher thought it might be good to see if Akira also gets sad at the dog movie. He didn't until the end but I was surprised they talked the whole way through the movie.
| Carly was crying as soon as it started. Does Akira not have a heart? |
But he was sad at the end.
Watcher: Carly, what are you thinking about it? Carly: You said we were going to play Woo Who? Watcher: Play it, not do it. Carly: Whatever. |
And then they played the game and I was surprised how much fun I had watching them. I learned things I did not know about Carly.
Carly: Oh my, so where do you want to woohoo with someone?
Akira: Outside in nature.
| Carly thinking I love that answer since I am adventurous. |
| Akira: OK, same question for you? Where do want to do it? |
Carly: In a dumpster. Watcher: Seriously!? Why am I not surprised. |
| Akira: Good answer! |
And they both got flirty during that game.
And eventually Carly said good night to him.
