Exploring Britechester

 Carly, Day 115, April 25, 2026

I really have to start having her do this when she gets to a new city instead of when she is leaving. She discovered so much I didn't know existed. 

Carly still had the effects of her amber ring so it was a beautiful sunny day in Britechester and she set off to see some areas she had never seen. She never had been to the Foxbury campus or anywhere around it. And she found a fishing area.

And the water is swimmable. Em will come here before she leaves.


And she took a few photos.

And she showed off her bowfishing skills.

Carly: I don't even have to look.

The boat looked pretty docked. It would be nice if that cafe was real.

And she found another fishing and swimming area near her house, right behind the bar.

That's a big fish.

And then she decided to stop in the bar for a drink. Irene and Wolfie must have been on a break from Selvadorada.
Irene and Wolfie are over by the door.

And Carly challenged Irene to some juice pong.
And look who's coming in to the left. 

That's because she got this message. 

Grrrr. You are so cute, Paolo, but you are too late. But Carly was pleasant.

And beat him at a game of ping pong.

Honey wasn't there long.

Carly: Oh my, will you look at the time. It's been nice catching up with you, but I really have to get going. 

Carly: Hey, we had some good times, but I am moving soon, so I wish you well, Paolo. 
Paolo: Where are you going?
Carly: I really don't know yet.

And then it appeared that Paolo was chasing her home.
But she made it home. And still holding his drink from the bar.

And the next day, Carly got an unusual envelope in the mail. 
Carly: Wonder what this is?

And she opened it.

 Carly, Day 57, February 26, 2026 Carly intended for just the girls to get together for dinner so they could talk about Jace and Ashley, but Carly forgets that if a few of them get together, it's a club meeting. Back At Home

 Carly, Day 146, May 26, 2026 The best thing about coming home after a long vacation... Em: Mommy, mommy, I missed you. Carly: I missed you too cutie pie. Carly was a little rusty with her swordsmanship training though. Carly: Ouch! And Carly started right in on trying to complete the social puppeteer. She thought maybe she could get some secrets at some of the bars, so after Phillip went to sleep, Carly headed out. She got enough secrets to complete the third part of the aspiration. Look how muscular everyone is though. It was definitely that decree. I had Phillip remove it so we'll see if people stop being so muscular. For the fourth part, she has to expose the royal burglar and she has to become friends with the Information Broker, as well as deal with 10 more secrets. But she is able to hack for the secrets in that last phase so she has been doing that too. And all of these interactions with the nobles has increased her rank with the nobles to where she outranks Phillip.  ...

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up. That little want she has in the corner is to woohoo with Paolo.  Watcher: Carly, you still have to finish one more homework. Carly: Watcher says I have to do this one homework before we whatever.
