A New Beginning

 Carly, Day 130, May 10, 2026

Phillip had been planning a surprise for Carly. He hoped it wasn't too soon, but he just had to find a way to tell her how much he loved her. He invited her to a special place.

Phillip: Welcome to your very own sunflower garden, Carly.
Carly: You did all this for me?

Carly: They are absolutely beautiful! They remind me so much of my mother's sunflower garden. Thank you!
Phillip: Isabella helped me plant them. I just want to be sure you know how special you are to me.

Carly: You are very special to me too. I honestly can't remember a time when I didn't love you.
Phillip: Oh Carly, I feel the same way.

Phillip: I can't imagine a life without you in it. I wake up thinking about you and I go to sleep thinking about you.

Phillip: I know it may seem like it's too sonn, but I have known you my whole life and I know that I don't want to spend a minute of the rest of my life without you.

Phillip: So there is something I need to ask you.

Phillip: Carly Sunflower Lansing, will you marry me?
Carly: Oh Phillip, of course, yes.

Carly: It's beautiful. I love you so much

And then they sat down to talk.

Phillip: I would also like to ask if you would like to live together before the wedding? I don't want to imply anything. There are plenty of bedrooms, you could have your own space. Oh, and EmmaLou of course too. But it might make it easier to do the wedding planning. Of course, your friend Irene said that bathroom elopements take a lot of stress out of wedding planning.
Carly: I think I might like to have a wedding and yes, EmmaLou and I would love to move in. She will love the big pool you have. And we can talk about the sleeping arrangements.
Phillip: And your friend Tae said that we should play the WooWho? game before buying a pizza oven. I don't know what that's all about. But I did bring the game along.

Carly: So where is your favorite place you'd like to woohoo?

Phillip: A rocketship.
Carly: We'll have to work on that.
Phillip: Same question for you.

Carly: Outside somewhere. Something scandalous maybe.
Phillip: Oooh. I like the sound of that. OK, so what food do you want to eat after woohoo?

Carly: That's easy. A big plate of pancakes. What about you?

Phillip: Same. Pancakes would be great. Guess we don't need that pizza oven.

Phillip: OK, let's get you moved in.

Watcher: What are you making, Carly.
Carly: Nothin'

Phillip: Good Morning Beautiful. I thought I smelled pancakes.
