Engagement Party

 Carly, Day 132, May 12, 2026

I look at the date and start panicking that Carly hasn't really accomplished anything in Ondarion, even though her whole life has changed, and the month is almost half over. She has two secrets about to expire and she has to get out and extort someone with one of them and promise to keep the other secret. Who has time for such things...there's a wedding to plan. But first up, Carly and Phillip hosted an engagement party. Phillip had not really met anyone at the tea party, so this was his first time meeting everyone (except Jace). 

The first guests to arrive were Kristen and Irene. Kristen was looking great for having just delivered twins. 

Despite Carly's best efforts to get everyone inside the house, they kept gathering outside.

And I don't know where Jace got the cowboy hat. I swear I deleted all those outfits.

Kristen eventually came in to dance. Carly tried to say everyone dance, everyone drink, time to eat...I hope everyone is better behaved at the wedding, but it's doubtful. 😟

Em even got dressed up. There's Tae and Mirza. Unfortunately, no idea why, Alej would not show up to invite. Then Carly tried to just invite to lot and he wasn't there either as a choice. So weird.

And then more people started coming in and it started feeling like a party. Phillip kept introducing himself to everyone. Uncle Simon was tending bar and I forgot to have him meet people. And I totally forgot about poor Isabella. I sent her downstairs with a pile of dirty laundry and forgot to have her come back up. 

Possible bromance. Phillip seems to light up when Jace enters a room. 

And Phillip told Cebolla why he could not knight her, as much as he wanted to. He can only knight residents of Ondarion. But he has heard rumors of a certain raccoon headed his way.


And Carly had something very important to ask Tae. He was thrilled.

Phillip: I wonder where Jace got to?

And the party winding down and Phillip found Jace.


I didn't invite Lilith and Lex due to their situation, but we will assume that Lord Sterling gives Lilith a pass to come to the King's wedding, because I am not leaving them out of that. And I have to figure out what happened to Alej.

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up.  Carly, Day 122, May 2, 2026 Carly came to Ondarion because of the invitation she received. The day had arrived for the Masquerade Ball.  Carly: How do I look? Watcher: I think you look beautiful.
