The Truth is Out There

 Carly, Day 183, July 2, 2026

Carly was going deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole trying to discover the truth about Strangerville. Her new friend at the curio stand said the secrets are probably hidden deep within the lab. If she could get enough evidence together, he could give her a key card to go deeper in. She so wanted this. She had already gathered some evidence at the library but she managed to get some spy bugs and thought maybe that would help. She planted the bugs on some scientists at the library.

Carly: She didn't suspect a thing.

When she got home, she went straight to the basement to see if she could pick anything up.

Carly: I can so use this in my file. 

She also ventured over to the lab to the parts that were accessible to her and gathered some evidence from some old computers and old files and papers left behind.

Carly: This photo is blurry but I think I can use it.

Carly: Finally that high school computer club is paying off.

And more talking. Those military folks were really quick to share information.

Carly and Phillip were struggling to find the time for romance, but the hot tub felt good in the evening after all of her searching.

Phillip: Carly, I think you should take a break from all of this. 
Carly: Oh Phillip, I am more sure than ever that something is not right. I went to that old lab and found some stuff that proves the government and the scientists are hiding something in there. I just don't know what yet. But I know they are watching me. We have to be careful. I know you don't believe me yet, but I need you to support me.
Phillip: Always, my love.

Carly: I know the truth is out there somewhere.

Not far from the house, a mysterious van was parked.

 Carly, Day 57, February 26, 2026 Carly intended for just the girls to get together for dinner so they could talk about Jace and Ashley, but Carly forgets that if a few of them get together, it's a club meeting. Back At Home

 Carly, Day 146, May 26, 2026 The best thing about coming home after a long vacation... Em: Mommy, mommy, I missed you. Carly: I missed you too cutie pie. Carly was a little rusty with her swordsmanship training though. Carly: Ouch! And Carly started right in on trying to complete the social puppeteer. She thought maybe she could get some secrets at some of the bars, so after Phillip went to sleep, Carly headed out. She got enough secrets to complete the third part of the aspiration. Look how muscular everyone is though. It was definitely that decree. I had Phillip remove it so we'll see if people stop being so muscular. For the fourth part, she has to expose the royal burglar and she has to become friends with the Information Broker, as well as deal with 10 more secrets. But she is able to hack for the secrets in that last phase so she has been doing that too. And all of these interactions with the nobles has increased her rank with the nobles to where she outranks Phillip.  ...

Start of a New Term

 Carly, Day 96, April 6, 2026 One thing that makes University so hard is not getting your new classes until about 6PM and then you may have 3 classes to do homework for. Luckily, Carly only had 2 Thursday classes to prepare for. She was hard at work (mostly hard at work) studying when someone happened to be walking by her house and couldn't resist stopping in to see her.  Watcher: You just have to get through two class homeworks tonight.  Carly: I know. Watcher: You do not look like you are reading about writing children's books. Carly: I am still reading the book.  That's about the time Paolo showed up.
